PPIE Updates
EARLY BIRD registration ends on Friday, March 3rd at 11:59 pm, be sure to sign up before prices go up!
Please join us Sunday, April 30th PPIE Run for Education presented by Workday will be held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
We have a new 2 Mile course plus our 5K & 10K courses. Join your school run club or a group of friends and take advantage of these discounted prices.
We have some at great sponsor packages for local businesses. Interested sponsors may email mail@ppie.org.
Be sure to check out ppierun.com to sign up and learn more! We are looking for volunteers to help us in planning the event, if you are interested in lending us a hand reach out to us at mail@ppie.org.

We’d love your help in getting support to families who could benefit from connecting with others who speak the same language as them. We’ve been seeing more families coming from other countries, some who don’t speak any English. While we have our amazing parent liaisons to connect with alot of these families, we don’t have them for every country we have students from. And although we have access to the language line for translation, we know that doesn’t feel as personal and comfortable. We’re hoping to increase our ability to support these families by asking for your help! We’d love to have a way to connect others in our community to these families as an additional resource. So if you are bilingual and are willing to potentially volunteer some of your time connecting with a family as we find needs, we’d love for you to sign up through this form. Signing up here doesn’t mean you are 100% committed or even guarantee our team or another family will reach out to you, and you can always opt out at any time.
Potential examples of times you may be contacted by a PUSD team member to connect with a family or have a family reach out to you directly: A family needs help making phone calls due to language barriers, a family is interested in meeting other families from their culture to build a community in the area, or foreign exchange students is missing their home language/country.
